As a part of Samta Gram Seva Santhan, we are trying to educate, aware & inform the community about the basic ideas & concept. we are here to help the needy, to stronger the voice of weaker section and also to create an inclusive, democratic and just a society where equitable growth for all is possible. SGSS wants to establish an equal society, where we will raise the social, economic, educational, health, political and intellectual status of the most marginalized and excluded groups, castes and communities, with a special focus on women and children. I personally welcome you to the movement of SGSS and become a support for us to create the equal society for all.

About us
The Samta Gram Seva Sansthan is a voluntary organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, in 1979. The organization was established by a group of youth inspired by JP movement of 1974 with a strong will to create an inclusive, democratic and just a society where equitable growth for all is possible. The group of youth and students who sacrificed their life for the movement of total revolution at the society.
The organization has initiated its effort as a voluntary organization in the district Vaishali (Bihar) in 1978. From the initial years, we were working in 8 districts of Bihar, including the South Bihar or Jharkhand. Presently we are operating in Bihar in seven districts -Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Purnia, Araria, Katihar and Patna and one district in Jharkhand i.e. Deoghar. For last three decades, the organization has been working to realize its vision of establishing an egalitarian social order in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Our vision
To achieve total transformation of the society, to enable personal dignity, social justice, equity and self -reliance among the rural masses through delivery of entitlements and fundamental rights, provision of infrastructure, and protection to vulnerable sections of society including women and children.
Mission
Overall development of humanity, specially the oppressed living in rural and semi urban community. Focus is on underprivileged women, deprived children, unemployed youth, farmers, aged and physically disabled persons. SGSS caters to their specific goal of social change and creation of uniform society for the realization of human rights.
Objective
To establish an egalitarian society and raise the social, economic, educational, health, political and intellectual status of the most marginalized and excluded groups, castes and communities, with a special focus on women and children, in Bihar and Jharkhand
To make aware and organize the most marginalized and excluded groups, castes and communities, including women and children, to achieve their entitlements, and human and constitutional rights. To struggled against feudalism and other traditional negative attitude for the mainstreaming of downtrodden and weaker section of the society.
To work against the illegal ownership of land and fight for properly distribution among the landless.
